Welcome to CCMTA!
CCMTA strives to be a vital part of the Carroll County and Maryland State musical communities. We are a professional group of music teachers within the Carroll County, Maryland area. We are affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and Maryland State Music Teachers Association (MSMTA).
We offer a variety of activities for students of member teachers including: recitals, festivals, competitions, the MSMTA Keyboard Musicianship Exam, and the MSMTA Theory Exam.
CCMTA members benefit from participation in interesting and informative meetings throughout the year which include pedagogy workshops, music swaps, and professional encouragement. Members also have the ability to offer wonderful music opportunities to students.
